I am saddened to just recently hear of Cozene passing. She was such a sweet lady. I only knew her and her husband and one of the sons, Paul, I think it was, some thirty years ago when I was a postal clerk in Kountze, Tx.

It was either Paul or John? And while this is a bit off topic, did an AMAZING job of sounding EXACTLY like Cary Grant I think it was. So Paul, you made me laugh so much and Always. So sorry about the loss of your sweet Mother.

It’s been dinosaur years since I’ve seen the Bakers but remember them fondly.

Though I only knew them through my job as a postal clerk so many years

What a treasure. A great neighbor. I saw her outside recently, tending her array of plants. She was always friendly. Cheerful and she was a true patriot. She voted.

    Dear Christian friends,,
So very sorry to learn of the passing of dear sweet Cozene. My prayers are with all of you. Cozene was the perfect example of a Christian lady and loved deeply. She is the perfect modern example of the “worthy woman” described in Proverbs 31.
Her example will live on in each of her family, of whom she was so proud. She served her Lord faithfully, in many ways in addition to caring for her family, as the longtime church secretary of the Kountze Church of Christ. May you be comforted knowing she is safe in the arms of Jesus. My prayers are for your comfort and like David, we cannot bring them back, but we can go to them. In Christian Love, Roberta🙏🏻
