Eula “Lou” I. Hubert

Eula “Lou” I. Hubert, 85, of LaBelle, died June 30, 2024, at her home. She was born December 26, 1938, in Nederland, to Euta Patin Maxwell and Louis Maxwell, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred “Vic” Hubert, Jr.; son, Victor Allen Hubert and wife, Lisa; daughter, Shelia Moore and husband, Sherman; granddaughters, Stephanie Moore-Malmstrom and husband, Branden, and Kara Moore; and great-grandchildren, Anniston Malmstrom, Mason Malmstrom, Tatum Malmstrom, Craig Dodds, and Caydence Dodds.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Euta Patin Maxwell and Louis Maxwell, Sr.; twin sister, Euta Maxwell; brother, Louis Maxwell, Jr.; great-grandbaby Malmstrom; and stepfather, Dallas J. Thomas.

A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m., with a gathering of Mrs. Hubert’s family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, she will then be laid to rest at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
