Geronimo “Jerry” Collazo
Geronimo “Jerry” Collazo, 83, of Douglasville, Georgia, died Friday, December 22, 2023. He was born on December 1, 1940, in Port Arthur to Antonia Reyes and Frank Collazo, Sr. Jerry was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Alice Flores and her husband, Gregorio, of Port Arthur and Susie Villarreal and her husband, Peter, of Beaumont; brother, Jessie Collazo and his wife, Lupe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Collazo; and stepson, Joseph “Joey” Collazo; brother, Frank Collazo Jr., Manuel Collazo, Richard Collazo.
A gathering of Mr. Collazo’s family and friends will begin 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., with his funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.

Jerry was a great Fast-Pitch Softball Pitcher when in Houston. A Graduate of the Thomas Jefferson High School Class of 1959. R.I.P. Old Buddy.
