Gloria R. Bishop

Gloria R. Bishop, 88, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born January 31, 1936, in Nederland, to Ollie Irene Smith Ricardo and Soloman Bivin Ricardo.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Bishop.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Bishop.
A gathering of Mrs. Bishop’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Monday, February 12, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Bishop’s honor may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486.

Gloria was a very special person to me. She was always there for me,we had many good times and I will be lost without her. She will always be a part of me. Rest in peace sweet lady,God got a angel. Brad I will always be here for you. I’m so sorry for your loss. May God wrap his arms around you in this difficult time.

She was an absolutely lovely person with such a sweet soul. I always enjoyed getting to see Mrs. Gloria and show off pictures when she asked about my boys. She will be greatly missed.
