Gloria R. Bishop

January 31, 1936 - February 7, 2024

Gloria R. Bishop, 88, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born January 31, 1936, in Nederland, to Ollie Irene Smith Ricardo and Soloman Bivin Ricardo.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Bishop.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Bishop.

A gathering of Mrs. Bishop’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Monday, February 12, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Bishop’s honor may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486.
