Gregg Luquette

May 27, 1967 - September 24, 2018

Kenneth Gregg Luquette, 51, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 24, 2018, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.  He   was   born   on   May   27, 1967, in Beaumont, to Sylvia Ann Sterrett and Victor Kenneth Luquette. 

After graduating from Beaumont High School, Gregg joined the United States Marine Corps and then later went on to become an electrician and a member of the IBEW Local #479. Upon his retirement, he was employed as an Electrical Superintendent at CB&I. Gregg enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing at the beach, and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife, Miste Luquette, of Mauriceville; son, Kenneth Blake Luquette and his wife, Brittany, of Sour Lake; daughters, Ashlee Broussard and her husband, Brennan, of Port Neches; Chelsea Williford, of Mauriceville; and Alexus Monceaux and her husband, Dustin, of Bridge   City;   stepsons, Dawson, Scout and   Logan   Denman, all of Mauriceville; father, Victor Kenneth Luquette and his wife, Anita, of Beaumont; mother, Sylvia Ann Luquette, of Beaumont. He had four grandchildren, Ethan, Amelia, Elijah, and Wyatt.

Gregg is preceded in death by his son, Douglas Blayne Luquette; paternal grandparents, Ruby Jewel and Victor Luquette; and maternal grandparents, Joyce Alice Bordages and Cecil P. Bordages. 

A   memorial   service   for   Mr.   Luquette   will   be held at 2:00   p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
