Helen Ray Cook
Helen Ray Cook, 84, of Beaumont, died Thursday, October 26, 2023. She was born on April 2, 1939, in Newellton, Louisiana to Ethel Butler and Willie E. Dixon.
Helen enjoyed spending her time sewing and fishing. She loved to cook. Helen spent many hours gardening and loved her plants. She was known as a generous person both physically and spiritually.
Survivors include her sons, Reginald Cook and his wife, Kimmie, and Graylin L. Cook; grandchildren, Tiffany Cook-Grant, and her husband, Tony; Terrance Jones and her husband, Marcus; Rodney Cook, Jr.; Graylin Cook, Jr.; Corie Cook; Kellie Cook; and Cutuia Rutherford; and great-grandchildren, Sage, Keiden, Liam, Oliva, Taylor, Tony, Tinsley, Timothy, and Nicholas.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Cook; Rodney Cook, Sr., Lester Cook, Jr., and Michael A. Cook.

A memorial service for Mrs. Cook will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2350 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. I am so sorry to see that Mrs. Cook has passed. She was a very nice person and I always enjoyed talking to her when she brought Mike and Lester to Respite. Prayers to the family.
