Howard Ray Courts, Sr.

Howard Ray Courts, 65, of Kountze, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on November 30, 1951, to Lou Nell Stutts and William Pete Courts. Mr. Courts was a United States Army veteran.

Survivors include his mother, Lou Nell Stutts Courts; son, Ray Courts and his wife, Lynn; grandchildren, Raylynn Courts, John Courts, and Jamesky Saberon; brother, William Courts, Roger Courts, and Phillip Courts, all of Kountze; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and wife, Sharon Kay Brown.

A gathering of Mr. Courts family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017, with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze.
