Jackie Moss

Jackie Moss, 90, of Buna, died Sunday, January 17, 2021.  She was born on August 20, 1930, in Evadale, to Ida Mae Whitmire and Jessie Whitmire.

Survivors include her children, Ronnie Moss and his wife, Donna, of Hemphill and Troy Moss and his wife, Cathy, of Buna; daughter-in-law, Linda Jones of Evadale; grandchildren, Rhonda Croft and her husband, Chris, of Lumberton; Scott Allen Jones of Evadale; Gina Worthy and her husband, Ronnie, of Liberty; Dr. Misty Bartz and her husband, Dr. Roger Bartz, of Lumberton; Brian Keith Moss and his wife, Christine, of Pasadena; and Shelly Jones, Stacy Allen Jones, and Shannon Jones, all of Evadale; numerous great-grandchildren; and siblings, Tevis Whitmire of Evadale; and C.B. Whitmire and his wife, Estelle, and Nita Holloway, all of Buna.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Scott Moss; son, Durwood Jones; and sisters, Ethel Lee Moss and Estelle Moss.

A gathering of Mrs. Moss’ family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.
