James Allen Jenkins
James Allen Jenkins, 64, of Winnie, died Friday, April 27, 2018, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on December 14, 1953, to Caroline Mary Smith and Bennett Meigs Jenkins, in Devers, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Jenkins and two fur babies, Tucker and Lulu; daughters, Shannon and her husband, Kip Welsch; Michelle and her husband, Mike Trahan; granddaughters, Lauren and her husband, Dallas Gibson; Payton and Jordan Nutter; sisters, Shirley and her husband, Butch Williams; Lydia and Sue Jenkins; and Lynn DiCarlo; brother, Benny and his wife, Patsy Jenkins; and many extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Meigs and Carol Jenkins; and granddaughter, Devon Sanford.
A gathering of Mr. Jenkins’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
