James Farnsworth
James William Farnsworth, 80, of Beaumont, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on September 1, 1937, to Edna Johnson Farnsworth and Harry J. Farnsworth, in Galveston and had served in the National Guard.
Jim made many friends working with the public in multiple positions from construction supervisor for Pizza Inn, to working on and selling office equipment to tour bus driver. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Farnsworth; sons, Adam Perry Farnsworth and his wife, Cherrlyn, of Glen Rose and Todd Lincoln Farnsworth of Dickinson; daughters, Shelia Diana Farnsworth Osoba and her husband, Steve, and Carolyn Marie Vines, all of Houston; and five grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mr. Farnsworth will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 680 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with a gathering of his family and friends to follow in the Cloister Room at St. Mark’s.
