James Hood
James Neal Hood, 86, of Beaumont, died Monday, November 5, 2018. He was born on November 25, 1931, in Beaumont, to Edith Jones and Lonnie Hood. James was a Retired Pilot with the United States Air Force, having served in the Vietnam War.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Hood.
Survivors include his daughters, Kathleen Haskins, of Beaumont and Saundra Walton and her husband, Ronnie, of Lumberton; son, Michael Hood, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jennifer Stone and her spouse, A.M. “Stoney”, of Austin; Diana Johnson and her husband, Gary, of Lumberton; Andrew Walton, of Chicago; Julie Harwell and her husband, Dustin, of Lumberton; Cassandra Marble and her husband, Jordan, of Lakewood, Colorado; and Miranda Hood, of Beaumont; great-grandchildren, Addison Langston, Branson Langston, Colton Harwell, Kinley Harwell, and Kambri Harwell; and brother, Rudolph Hood, of Spring.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 2030 North Loop West, Houston Texas 77018.
