May 26, 1951 - April 3, 2024

Jim grew up in East Chicago, Indiana and was a proud member of the 1970 Roosevelt HS Indiana State championship basketball team. Jim lived for a short time in Kansas and moved to his favorite state of Texas where he has lived for 40 + years but remained an avid Chicago Bears and White Sox fan.

Jim’s career was largely in food service and restaurant management in Orange, Bridge City, and Beaumont. Jim was proud to have assisted with food distribution during hurricane relief efforts. He was the President of the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce and also a Rotarian and a Member of the Elks in Beaumont.

Jim loved a good Poker game and was very good at it! He enjoyed golfing and was still working at bringing down his handicap. Jim was generous, had a big heart, was devoted to his family as the favorite uncle and the favorite cousin, and was true to his friends; he will be very much missed.
