Jerry William Smith

Jerry William Smith, 72, of Clute, died Friday, September 8, 2023, at Friendship Haven Nursing Home, Friendswood. He was born on February 9, 1951, to Eunice Josephine Modica Smith and Charles Ray Smith, Sr., in Denton. Jerry retired from sales at Monument Roofing.

Survivors include his children, Jeremy Smith and Jared Smith and his wife, Tammy, all of Beaumont; Jamie Smith of Georgia; and Jessica Smith of Kentucky; grandchildren, Zachary, Kaley, Kayden, Jordan, Caitlyn, Dana, Shana, Bella, Dylan, Alyssa, Jasmine, Jassidy, and Joselyn; great-grandchildren, Baylor, Preslyn, Adleigh, and Sadie; and brothers, Charles Smith, Sam Smith, and Tommie Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph Smith.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
