Johnny Clifton Okun
Johnny Clifton Okun, 74, of Beaumont, died Monday, May 2, 2022. He was born on February 26, 1948, in Beaumont, to Zethria Martin Okun and Henry Ralph Okun.
Johnny was retired from Triple “S” Industrial as a Construction Manager after twenty-eight years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and gathering with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Okun; children, Renee Boykin and her husband, Kevin, of Lumberton and Darrell Okun and his wife, Laura, of Trinidad, Colorado; grandchildren, Kyndall Brownsworth and her husband, Dylan, of Valley Mills; Brenner Boykin of Lumberton and his fiancée, Dusti Hussey of Vidor; Remington Boykin, and Drake Boykin, all of Lumberton; and Rody Hussey and Rye Hussey, both of Vidor; brother, Ralph Okun and his wife, Veronica, of Lumberton; nephew, Justin Okun of Lumberton; and mother of his children, Sharon Okun of Lumberton. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of Mr. Okun’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Leatherwood Cemetery, Lumberton.
