Joyce Lorene Esclovon

Joyce Lorene Esclovon, 85, of Kountze, died Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born on March 20, 1938, to Lorene and Dennard Gore.

Survivors include her daughter, Carmen Odom and her husband, Rocky, of Kountze; step-children, Melissa Beard and her husband, Darrell, of Vidor and Terry Wayne Hatcher of Alabama; grandchildren, April Majalca and her husband, Tony, of Kountze; Jennifer Graham and her husband, Mike, of Silsbee; Heather Fountain and her fiancé, Cody McFarland, of Lumberton; Joshua LeBlanc and David Freesmeyer and his wife, Shelly, all of Kountze; great-grandchildren, Alexia Sawyer and her husband, Tommie, of Lumberton; Kayleigh Boyett of Kountze; Taylor Fountain of Lumberton; and Ayden LeBlanc of Kountze; great-great-grandchildren, Harper Sawyer and Maren Sawyer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Freesmeyer; sons, Randall Freesmeyer and David Michael Freesmeyer; and siblings, Muriel, Wayne Gore, Frances Gore and Melvin Ray.

A gathering of Mrs. Esclovon’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze, with her interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery.
