Juana Viviana Cos

March 9, 1953 - April 26, 2022

Juana Cos, 69, of Beaumont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022. She was born on March 9th, 1953, in San Francisco El Alto, Guatemala.

Juana Cos, better known to her family as “Mama Juana,” treasured the time she spent with her family and friends in Beaumont and Guatemala. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. During her Christian life she served as a testimony to her faith and inspired many who knew and loved her. Her endless generosity, compassionate heart, and loving spirit will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by her family, friends, and fellow church members.

Survivors include her children, Leyda Tzul and her husband, Sergio Tzul; Aracely Rabago; Edna Alvarez and her husband, Wuilver Alvarez; Bayron Cristobal Cos and his wife, Juana Lissette Perez de Cos; and Peter Paolo Cos and his wife, Karina Paxtor de Cos; grandchildren, Jane Elayza Tzul, Madeline Yohaira Tzul, Sherlyn Arely Rabago, Jimmy Elias Cos Paxtor, Delany Aileen Cos Perez, Emily Betsabe Alvarez, Arnold Jr. Rabago, Earling Rodolfo Alvarez, Janalynn Janice Cos Perez, Angie Jizelle Cos Paxtor, Bayron Ian Cos Perez, and Peter Paolo Cos Paxtor.

Juana is preceded in death by her parents Pedro Pablo Son y Rodriga Mercedez Paxtor de Son.

A gathering of Mrs. Cos’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2022, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana, 2623 Hoover Street, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at a later date in Guatemala.

 

 

Juana Cos, de 69 años, de Beaumont, falleció rodeada de su familia el Martes 26 de Abril de 2022. Nació el 23 de Marzo de 1953 en San Francisco El Alto, Guatemala.

Juana Cos, más conocida por su familia como “Mama Juana”, atesoraba el tiempo que pasaba con su familia y amigos en Beaumont y Guatemala. Era una amada hija, esposa, madre, abuela y amiga. Durante su vida cristiana sirvió como testimonio de su fe e inspiró a muchos que la conocieron y la amaron. Su generosidad infinita, su corazón compasivo y su espíritu amoroso serán profundamente extrañados y recordados calurosamente por su familia, amigos y miembros de la iglesia.

Juana es precedida en la muerte por sus padres Pedro Pablo Son y Rodriga Mercedez Paxtor de Son .

Una reunión de familiares y amigos de la Sra. Cos será de 6:00 p.m. hasta las 9:00 p. m. del Lunes 9 de Mayo de 2022 en Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Su funeral se llevará a cabo el Martes 10 de Mayo de 2022 a las 6:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana, 2623 Hoover Street, Beaumont. Su entierro seguirá en una fecha posterior en Guatemala.
