Karen Marcantel Stanley

Karen Marcantel Stanley, 62, of Nederland, died Monday, February 27, 2023. She was born October 31, 1960, to Betty Brady Marcantel and Elwood John Marcantel.

She was an avid reader, she enjoyed tending to her flower garden, and she loved cooking. She will forever remain a loving wife, mother, and Mawmaw.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-seven years, Foster Stanley; daughter, Andrea Lynn Granger of Vidor; stepdaughters, Tina Stanley Boudreaux, of Bridge City and Kimberly Hanks and husband, Shane, of Katy; stepsons, Todd Stanley and wife, Anna, of Humble and Keaton Stanley of Bridge City; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Roxanne Boudreaux and husband, Gordon, of Orangefield; brother, Steven Marcantel of Port Neches; and Matthew Granger.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ronald, Randy, and Eddie Marcantel.

A gathering of Mrs. Stanley’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2023, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
