Kenneth Dale Devers
Kenneth Dale Devers, 79, of Fannett, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born on August 7, 1944, in Port Arthur, to Edith and Dewitt Canty Devers, Jr.
Kenneth worked in the ship building business for 50 years before he retired. He truly mastered the art of creating and fixing things. He built bicycles, go karts, and lots of other fun items. Kenneth will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and pawpaw.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Judy Campbell Devers of Fannett; son, Dwayne Devers and his wife, Amanda, of Fannett; daughter, Kayla Williams and her husband, Allen, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Colt Williams and his wife, Kayla, Weston, and Abigail Devers; great-grandchildren, Kalli and Dolynn Williams; sister, Shirley Adams and her husband, Paul, of Nederland; brother, Jimmy Devers and his wife, Cathy, of Mauriceville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Daniel Devers.
A gathering of Mr. Devers family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium Beaumont.

Dad I miss you so bad. I will miss us butting our two hard heads together. And me calling you to ask what you want to eat and you telling me 4 onion rings not 5 only 4 or a hot fudge sundae and me telling you that’s just what a diabetic needs. I’ll miss our conversations that we never had till the end that I searched for all my life. I’ll love you and miss you forever.
He was always building. Improving what they had. He was a true friend to Ruben and I, as was Judy. My heart goes out to y’all. I’m sorry I can’t be there.

I love and miss you papaw .. you were and still are such a great inspiration that you can do anything you put your mind two and have passed on the ability to me to build anything I dream of with my two hands and a little thinking . I’ll always cherish your- and our crazy shop projects . At a very young age you gave me the motorcycle disease which I’ll be stuck with from here on out just like you did . You also inspired me in my music and gave me one of if not my first gig on stage which I’ll always remember. Your gone but definitely not forgotten . These grand babies , Kayla and me love you and always will . Rest easy and say hi to Jesus and my Pepe for me , I know you got some catching up to do ! It’s not goodbye it’s see you later !

Kenneth was dearly loved by his neighbors. He would help everybody that looked like they needed help. He was one of a kind. Your dearly missed and i have alot of memories of you.
