Kenneth Dale Devers

August 7, 1944 - October 11, 2023

Kenneth Dale Devers, 79, of Fannett, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born on August 7, 1944, in Port Arthur, to Edith and Dewitt Canty Devers, Jr.

Kenneth worked in the ship building business for 50 years before he retired. He truly mastered the art of creating and fixing things. He built bicycles, go karts, and lots of other fun items. Kenneth will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and pawpaw.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Judy Campbell Devers of Fannett; son, Dwayne Devers and his wife, Amanda, of Fannett; daughter, Kayla Williams and her husband, Allen, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Colt Williams and his wife, Kayla, Weston, and Abigail Devers; great-grandchildren, Kalli and Dolynn Williams; sister, Shirley Adams and her husband, Paul, of Nederland; brother, Jimmy Devers and his wife, Cathy, of Mauriceville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Daniel Devers.

A gathering of Mr. Devers family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium Beaumont.

    I love and miss you papaw .. you were and still are such a great inspiration that you can do anything you put your mind two and have passed on the ability to me to build anything I dream of with my two hands and a little thinking .
