Lali Grandio
Lali Grandio, 93, of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born on October 15, 1930, in Tampa, Florida.
In loving memory of Lali, who lit up every room she entered with her infectious laughter and warm smile. Lali was not only the life of the party but also the heart and soul of our family. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend she showered us all with unconditional love and boundless care. Her life was a testament to the power of joy, and her wise counsel to always choose happiness will forever echo in our hearts. Lali’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire us all. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Grandio; grandchildren, Kristin Lovett, and Adam Lovett and his wife, Jena; great-grandchildren, Madyson Owens, Michael Owens, Macy Lovett, Mabry Lovett, Breeana Lovett, Bryleigh Lovett, and Bryer Lovett; and many others whom she considered grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Philip Grandio, and daughter, Liz Lovett.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
A gathering of Mrs. Grandio’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2024, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled by Broussard’s Crematorium.

Lali was my neighbor and we met through my dog, Bentley, who took an instant love for Lali. She spoiled him worse than I do and he would drag me to her apartment whenever we were out walking. Her sparkly personality and excellent green thumb made us instant friends. I will miss her and I know Bentley misses her as everyday, he drags me to her door and I have to tell him she is an angel now. Fly high, Lali.

We are so sadden to hear about the passing of Miss Grandio “as we called her”. We speak of her often when we are attending some type of function where there was food and flowers. What a wonderful cook and her love of flowers was beyond comprehension. Her Cuban rice was delicious and it was hilarious how she made a pot full and gave it to me for my birthday every year. Even wrapped it up as a present. She will be greatly missed. I am sorry we didn’t see her after we retired to Florida. Did she ever. make it back to Tampa? She will be missed by all who knew her.
