Laurie Beth Seehusen
Laurie Beth Seehusen, 58, of Vidor, died Thursday, July 15, 2021. She was born May 28, 1963, in Tucson, Arizona, to Marguerite Elizabeth Walters Smith and Lee Gardenor Smith.
Laurie was a woman of faith. She enjoyed painting, traveling, and dancing. She also loved horses and music. Above all else, Laurie cherished her family.
Survivors include her children, Chad Blackburn, of Dallas; Sydney Seehusen, of Port Arthur; Matthew Seehusen, of St. Cloud, Minnesota; and Lane Seehusen, of Vidor; and grandchildren, Junior Jones; Khaza Messiah Jones; and Ezekiel Leroy Jones, all of Port Arthur.
A gathering of Ms. Seehusen’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with her memorial service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
