Lee Parker
Lee James “L.J.” Parker, we born on July 12, 1961, he passed in peace on December 15, 2017, at Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his four brothers, Wilber and his wife, Laurie Parker, of Lota; Malcolm Parker, of Daisette; Albert James Parker, of Silsbee; Hardy and his wife, Selena Parker, of Scott, Louisiana; and Troy Parker and his wife, Angela Parker, of Silsbee; and four sisters, Oweita and her husband, Dennis Cooper, of Leesburg, Georgia; Dianne and her husband, Warren Shiver, of Camilla, Georgia; Linda and her husband, Kenneth Broom, Jr., of Silsbee; and Patricia and her husband, John Broussard; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Leona Parker and Albert Nathaniel Parker; grandparents, Yola and Albert Martin and Ada and Hardy Parker; and life companion, Debra Jewel.
L.J. was a native and long-term resident of Scott, Louisiana and Daisetta, Texas.
A gathering of Mr. Parker’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Fred Community Cemetery, Fred.
