Lester Anderson
Lester Anderson, 66, of Kountze, died Monday, April 30, 2018. He was born on January 11, 1952, in Kountze, to Irene Laird Anderson and Thomas Anderson. Lester proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1971 until 1976 and later worked as a carpenter.
Survivors include his children, Thomas Anderson of Lumberton; Lana Anderson-Bentley and her husband, Rob, of Austin; and Elvis Anderson and his wife, Megan, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Cole Winters of Lumberton; Thomas Aaron Anderson and his wife, Emelya, of Houston; Justin Kade Osborn of Silsbee; Hailey Trest of Sour Lake; Easton Anderson of Lumberton; Samuel Anderson and Christopher Anderson, both of Beaumont; and Anna Bentley of Austin; great-grandchildren, Arya Winters of Beaumont and Marianna Anderson of Houston; fiancé, Lee Vigil of Kountze; and siblings, JD Anderson, Mitchell Anderson, Leroy Anderson, James Anderson, Dwight Anderson, AJ Anderson, Alton Anderson, Ruth Herrington, and Martha Douty. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, William Anderson, Gilbert Anderson, Chester Anderson, Clarence Anderson, Thomas Anderson, and Marie Eaves.
A gathering of Lester’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
