She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosie Lee and Pete Procell; brothers, Jimmie and Pete Procell; and sisters, Mary Prud’homme, Alice Procell, and Martha Barcheers.

A gathering of Mrs. Wright’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2018, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.

Jim, Linda fought the good fight. So did you as I witnessed during visits to the hospital as you took care of her for better or worse, in sickness and in health. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Jimmy & Carolyn McCormick (Class of '62)

I taught with Linda at Amelia Elementary. She was so kind and beautiful and was a mentor to me. I put my daughter Sarah in her class for 2nd grade and my son loved hanging out in her classroom after school to look at all her science stuff. She was always smiling and laughing. We just loved her. Such a wonderful person.

Jim: My thoughts for you during this time. It is sad to lose a loved one, but also a joy to know the fight is over for both Linda and you. I pray for you and your family find peace and comfort knowing Linda is no longer in pain. You were indeed a good husband who stood by her side. Love to you all --

Mike, Pam, and family. Though I never met Linda, I followed her journey and feel like I got to know her by watching how much you, and so many other people, loved her. Grief is a journey. I hope yours is swift and gentle and the tears can turn to smiles as you think of the great gift she was to the world. In the meantime, just hug a lot and know that you were, and are, Weill-loved and will be in the prayers of many.❤️

Linda was one of the first teachers to welcome me to Amelia Elementary. She was always upbeat, kind and positive with everyone, teachers and students. I remember seeing her at a Lamar basketball game, and she hugged me as if I was a her long-lost best friend. That is how Linda made everyone feel. She left us with big shoes to fill in how to treat others. She will be missed.

Linda was such a sweet and gentle lady. She loved her family, and was always so positive even when you was ill. She was a great teacher, and loved what she did and the children she taught. She will be missed, but leaves a wonderful legacy.

Was so very sad to read this about Linda. She was a great friend in High School, but like always you loose touch with friends as you all go off to college and move. This picture is certainly the beautiful girl I remember and was glad to have know her. She was an excellent basketball player and looks like she never lost her touch for that. May God's blessing be with her family during this time.
