Lisa Eileen Bourquein, age 63, a loving mother of 2, and adoring wife to husband Dave Bourquein, passed away in her home Sunday, April 24, 2022, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  Lisa was born April 22, 1959, in Beaumont, Texas, with her older brother Mark Gaiennie.  Lisa grew up in Beaumont and attended Forest Park High School.  Lisa then attended Texas A&M and shortly after met Ron Boutte while working at Beaumont’s Baptist Hospital.  She married Ron in 1981 and shortly after had her son Chad in 1982.  The family then moved to De Soto, Texas, where her daughter Shelby was born in 1987. Lisa made a career as a commercial loan officer and realtor.  She raised the kids and moved to Grapevine, Texas, until her father Larry Gaiennie, of Beaumont, passed away in 2008.  Lisa then moved to Beaumont to take care of her mother, Lolette.  Lisa was such a selfless person who was always thinking of others and was an active volunteer at her church.  She met her husband Dave Bourquein April 11, 2009, on a “divine date”.  Dave came to the relationship with 6 children of his own who were immediately welcomed by her. She became a grandmother to an ever growing number of grandkids.
