Lizzie Haynes
Lizzie Haynes, 75, of Hamshire, died Thursday, November 3, 2022. She was born October 20, 1947, to Mary and Melvin Christner.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Renkema; daughters, Bobbie Moses and husband, James and Ronda Burdick and husband, Jeff; son, Jerry Haynes, Jr.; stepdaughter, Cita Dugas; stepson, Coby D. Renkema; sister, Edna Gingerich and husband, Aaron; brother, Eldon Christner and wife, Sharon; nine grandsons; two granddaughters; and multiple great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Lynn Haynes, Sr.; parents, Mary and Melvin Christner; and sister, Esther Christner.
A gathering of Mrs. Haynes’ family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2022, at First Baptist Church, Hamshire. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 25304 TX-124, Hamshire, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
