Louise Meeks Dekeyzer

Louise Meeks Dekeyzer, 92, of Port Neches, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024. She was born February 10, 1932, in Sharon, Kansas, to Alice Smith Meeks and Ernie Meeks.

She read her Bible every morning, and she enjoyed painting ceramics. She also loved classic country music like The Statler Brothers. She worked at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was later Head Teller at Sabine State Bank.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Alice Meeks, and her husband of thirty-two years, Fred Dekeyzer.

Her graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
