Luisa Castro Campos

Luisa Castro Campos, 99, Beaumont, died Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was born on June 21, 1924, in Mexico to Juana Ramirez and Librado Campos.

Luisa was a sweet lady and a loving mom. She was hardworking, always taking care of her children and anything else that needed her attention. Luisa was a great cook and fantastic storyteller.

Survivors include her children, Gilberto Castro, Elivia Castro, Antonia Castro, Juana Castro, Maria De Jesus Castro, Agustin Castro, Juan Castro, Maria Castro, and Librado Castro; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Luisa is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Auralio Castro; and children, Raul Castro, and Emilia Castro.

A gathering for Mrs. Castro’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2023, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
