Madeline Joyce Franklin

December 3, 1945 - February 21, 2024

Madeline Joyce Franklin, 78, of McKinney, died Wednesday, February 21, 2024. She was born on December 3, 1945, in Renton, Washington, to Doris Rose Andraska and Earl Hershel Bierman.

Survivors include her children, Eugene Franklin of Vidor; Joyce Franklin of Lumberton; Willis Franklin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Justen Franklin of McKinney; and Joshua Franklin of Silsbee; and stepsons, Dan Franklin of Dallas; Doug Franklin of Little Cypress; and David Franklin of Oklahoma.  As well as many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Madeline has left a legacy of discipleship by guiding people to Christ as well as being a spiritual anchor for many. Her love for Christ, passion to spread the gospel and helping others has touched multiple generations from volunteering at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica Church and School, being a Eucharistic Minster, CCD Teacher, very active in her Catholic community and prayer chains/groups.

A gathering of Mrs. Franklin’s family and friends will begin 10:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, Beaumont. Her entombment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
