Marcelino “Marc” Lopez III

Marcelino “Marc” Lopez, III, 48, of Vidor died Tuesday, May 2, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1974, in Beaumont, to Florentina Gonzales and Marcelino Lopez, Jr.

Marc loved singing and making people laugh with his quick wit. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros play. Marc coached little league. He also loved spending time with his son, Quade.

Survivors include his mother, Florentina Parker and her partner Shane Marsing; grandmother, Mary A. Lopez; the love of his life, Crystal Lopez; children, Shaylyn Taylor Hubert; Jayden James Middleton, and Marcelino “Quade” Lopez, IV; sisters, Donna Schleicher, Marie Lopez and her fiancé, Lance Cole; Marlisa Lopez; niece, Madie Rose Bass; and nephews, Blaiz Lopez and Kruz Lozano.

Preceded in death by his father, Marcelino Lopez, Jr., grandparents, Marcelino Lopez, Sr; Joe Gonzales and Martina Gonzales; his stepfather, Richard Parker, and his best friends, Corey Holbrook and Josh Matthews.

A gathering of Mr. Lopez’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with his memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, Beaumont.
