Marlon William Culbreath

September 19, 1956 - June 17, 2023

Marlon William Culbreath, 66, of Winnie, died Saturday, June 17, 2023. He was born September 19, 1956, in Beaumont, to Garldene Trahan Culbreath and William Joshua Culbreath.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He also enjoyed being with his family and children. He will forever remain a loving father and Pawpaw Marlon.

Survivors include his sons, Jeremiah Culbreath, of Winnie and Patrick Culbreath, of Sour Lake; daughters, Brandi DeYoung and husband, Michael, of Winnie and Amanda Dempsey, of Austin; grandchildren, Damean, Destiney, Bella, Lily, and John; sisters, Carmen Lee and husband, Joe, of Winnie; Mariea Hartnett, of Pennsylvania; Jill Bollich and husband, Sergei Levtsuk, of Houston; brother, Wolfgang Bollich and wife, Tammy, of Phoenix, Arizona and Carl Richard and wife, Kim, of Beaumont; stepfather, Hallet Bollich; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service for Mr. Culbreath will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery, 213 Fairview Cemetery Drive, Winnie, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.

Mr. Culbreath’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont.

    I loved Marlon with all my heart. He was a great cousin and friend. I loved going fishing with him and hanging out with him. He will be forever missed.
