Melissa Segeada

Melissa Ann Lowe-Segeada, 55, of Lumberton, passed away at her home Wednesday, August 18, 2021.  She was born on April 5, 1966, in Denver City, Texas, to Evala Russell Lowe and Clarence Lowe.

Melissa loved to fiddle around in her yard in her spare time. She loved to be outside enjoying little things. Melissa loved what nature offered, mostly she liked Lilly’s and butterflies. Melissa also loved to play Bingo and spend time with her grandchildren. Her grandkids meant the world and beyond to her.

Melissa was a loving Nonnie, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Wife and Friend. She will be deeply missed by many. Goodbyes are not forever; Goodbyes are not the end; it simply means we will miss you until we meet again.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Segeada; children, Robert Segeada, Jr. and his wife, Alicia, of Arizona; Johnathan Segeada, Sr. and his wife, Dana Rodriguez, of Lumberton; and Alyssa Lowe Segeada of Orange; grandchildren, Bladen, Selena, Johnathan, Jr., Jeremiah, Marea, Robert III, Jazzlynn and Jaylon; siblings, Diane Lowe of Beaumont, Sally Leidecker of Beaumont,  Danah Comeaux of Lumberton, Rebecca Baker of Kountze, and Brenda Lowe of Crystal Beach; and numerous nieces; nephews; family; and friends.

She is preceded in death by his parents, Evala Russel Lowe and Clarence Lowe; sister, Gloria Baker; and brothers, Gene Lowe, William Clyde Lowe, W. H. Lowe, John Lowe, and Danny Lowe.

Melissa’s memories will forever be cherished.

A committal for Mrs. Segeada’s will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
