Michael Fasulo

August 27, 1981 - December 14, 2017

Michael Joseph Fasulo, 36, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was born on August 27, 1981, in Beaumont, to Denise Marie Berwick and Carl Joseph Fasulo.

Michael will be greatly missed by so many. He was known for his huge heart and protective nature. He loved joking around with friends and family. Going to the gym was Michael’s first priority of the day. He loved all sports, especially the Texans. He was proud to work at Ritter Lumber Company in Beaumont and enjoyed his job and everyone he worked with.

During the past year, he formed a bond with a special boy named Jacob who he loved and called his son. Laura, his fiancé, was the center of his life and brought him so much happiness. His mother, Denise, was his rock. She never wavered in her support for him.

Survivors include his mother and step-dad, Denise Fasulo Ducote and Michael Ducote, of Bridge City; brother, Blaine Fasulo and his wife, Heather of Port Neches; step-sister, Trudi Belanger of Mauriceville; step-brothers, James Ducote and Rhys Ducote, both of Biloxi, Mississippi; fiancée, Laura McIntyre of Lumberton; step-son, Jacob Harrington of Lumberton; and nephew, Max Fasulo.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Joseph Fasulo; grandparents, Carlo and Lydia Fasulo; grandmother, Joyce Sonnier Davis; grandfather, John Edward Berwick; great-grandparents, Herman and Hazel Sonnier; uncle, Christopher Berwick and Mickey Riley; and step-father, Argene Havard.

A gathering of Mr. Fasulo’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Broussard’s, with his interment following at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Fasulo’s memory to American Cancer Society, #4 Bayou Brandt, Suite B, Beaumont, Texas 77706.

Michael you were one of my favorite students!!, you were always making us smile and laugh. also you were frequently helping with all the good deeds we did at PNGHS while in art class.....like adding all the "png-ness" to the wall in the cafeteria!!! when i think of you i immediately think of your beautiful smile and those sparkly eyes. we have lost a way cool, owwee-baby kinda guy and that is very sad. my deepest condolences to michaels family. hope to hang with you again someday sweetpea.
