Mike Taylor
Mike “Bird” A. Taylor, 59, of Nederland, died Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was born on March 3, 1959, in Port Arthur, to Faye Marie Henry Taylor and Edward Charles Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Neeb Taylor of Nederland; sons, Michael Weylin Taylor of Nederland, Iron Dane Taylor of Livingston, Daniel Blake Thacker of Nederland, and Jacob Sloan Thacker and his wife, Cheryl Corpuz Thacker, of Nederland; grandson, Gauge Michael Taylor; and brother, Chuck Taylor of Groves.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Arland Glen Harris; and brothers, Kenneth Risinger and James Risinger.
A gathering of Mr. Taylor’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Broussard’s, with his interment following at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
