Rest in peace sweet MILLIE. I hope they are playing a little Cajun music up there for you. Many great memories of you and Vernon as we were growing up, especially you playing that Cajun music to wake us up after you know we were out late. Our fun trip to New Braunfels and Canton. Also, thanks for letting me spend Christmas with y’all when my family abandoned me to go to Louisiana when I had to work. Thanks for spending all those weekends in High Island so I could get to know you and your crazy fun loving daughter Verna Diane. I can’t make it this year but next year I will make it to the Fall festival and do the cake wall in your honor. Love you and God Bless!
