Nella Cary

May 27, 1930 - June 3, 2018

Nella Cary, 88, of Beaumont, died Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was born on May 27, 1930, in Evangeline, Louisiana, to Eva Mae LeJeune and William LeBlue. Nella was a custodian at Hillcrest for twenty-five years. She also enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra McMaster and her husband, William; Vanessa Keith; and Rana Inge; son, Glenn Cary; grandchildren, Eric Mallett; Will Mallett; Wendy Kelly and her husband, John; Ashley Frasier; Alicia Inge; and Trey Keith; nine great-grandkids; sister, Lillian LeDoux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents; husband of forty-four years, Roy Louis “R.L.” Cary; granddaughter, Genell Keith; great-grandson, Caleb Borders; and brothers, Houston LeBlue, Nelson LeBlue, Cline LeBlue, and Murray LeBlue.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 700 North St. M, Beaumont, Texas 77701.

A gathering of Mrs. Cary’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a celebration of life at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, with her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

She was so kind and a loving Aunt. We may not have that many memories together but I’m so thankful to have had the time I did with her. She will forever be missed. Thank you Aunt Nelly for everything you’ve done for this family and anyone whom needed it. I love you.
