Nolan Miska

September 7, 1942 - February 10, 2024

Nolan Miska, 81, of Beaumont, died Saturday, February 10, 2024. He was born on September 7, 1942, in Bay City, to Jane Elizabeth Ackerman and Frank Martin Miska.

He retired from Goodyear chemical after 37 years of service and was a Texas A&M graduate. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling and spending time at the lake with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Meda Miska of Beaumont; sons, Charles Miska and Wayland Miska, both of Nederland; granddaughter, Shelby Miska of Beaumont; and great-grandson, Gideon Johnson.

Nolan is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Ann Petkovsek.

A gathering of Mr. Miska’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, Beaumont.
