Orvie Lee Fontenot

Orvie Lee Fontenot, 81, of Magnolia, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born on August 9, 1936, in Newton, to Sudie Bobbitt Taylor and John Dee Taylor.

Survivors include her sons, Kyle Fontenot and his wife, Cathy, of Magnolia and Dale Fontenot, Sr. and his wife, Debbie, of Orange; grandchildren, Dale Ray Fontenot, Jr. and his wife, Shayla; Joshua Fontenot and his wife, Brandy; Christopher Fontenot and his wife, Jessica; Rebekah Patrick and her husband, Reggie; Sarah Fontenot; and Jonathan Fontenot and his wife, Tobi; great-grandchildren, Brandon Fontenot, Blaze Rucker, Blair Rucker, Blain Fontenot, Jace Fontenot, Raileigh Patrick and Ryder Patrick; great-grandchild on the way, Elijah Fontenot; brother, Delbert Taylor and his wife, Georgia; and sister, Loretta Hinton and her husband, Kenneth, and Jane LeBaron.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ernest John Fontenot.

A gathering of Mrs. Fontenot’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 02, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
