Patricia Ann Beaugh

Patricia Ann Beaugh, 85, of Hamshire, died Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born on September 7, 1937, in Crossett, Arkansas to Myrtle Elizabeth Hopper and Alfred William Dodd.

Patricia retired as a Nursing Inspector for the state of Texas after over forty-five years of experience. She also worked in many other local facilities as a director of nursing.   Patricia enjoyed fishing and working in her garden. She also loved telling stories. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Hamshire. Patricia will forever remain a loving wife, mother and Bibby.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Denise Lumpkin and her husband, Richard, of Colmesneil; grandchildren, Nikki Peveto, Jeremy Sarver, Jarrod Beaugh, and Mathew Sarver; great-grandchildren, Sierra, Zachary, Tyler, Brandon, Slayden, Bastain, Braxton, and Kestin; sister, Linda Hefner of Hamshire; brother, Gary Dodd of Hamshire; nieces, Colleen McGuire of Visalia, California, and Anna Marie Sparks of Lumberton.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of over fifty-nine years, Allen Beaugh, and daughter, Dianna Lynn Beaugh.

A gathering of Mrs. Beaugh’s family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery, 213 Fairview Cemetery Drive, Winnie.

    I am so sorry for the loss of Pat, she was such a dear friend of mine even thou I live in California we kept in touch over the years. Pat was so respected as a nurse and individuals would often seek out her advice. A most caring and loving person who will be deeply missed. You will never be forgotten. Pat, may you Rest In Peace!
