Patrick Hung Nguyen

Patrick Hung Dinh Nguyen, 48, of Beaumont, died Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Methodist Hospital, Houston after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 11, 1972, to Hien Thi Nguyen and Joseph Huong Nguyen, in Vietnam. Patrick was a loving son, husband, father of four, eldest brother to seven, and uncle. He was the most humble, kindest human being you will ever meet with the biggest heart. He always had a smile on his face and always put everyone’s needs above his own. Spending quality time with family and friends brought him the most joy as did the Minnesota Vikings (which often brought him tears). He will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Survivors include his wife, Jenny Nguyen; children, Matthew Nguyen, Kristina Nguyen, Ethan Nguyen, and Julia Nguyen; parents, Hien and Joseph Nguyen; siblings, Hung Nguyen, Hoang Nguyen, Junior Nguyen, Huynh Nguyen, Huyen Nguyen, Tony Nguyen, and Stephen Nguyen; and nieces and nephews, Hailey Nguyen, Kaitlyn Nguyen, Elijah Nguyen, Austin Matthew Nguyen, Kelsey Henson, Tanner Henson, Sommer Nguyen, Hayden Nguyen, Kash Nguyen, Violet Gordon, and Nevaeh Booker.

He is preceded in death by his nephew, Austin Anthony Nguyen.

A gathering of Mr. Nguyen’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
