Phillip Thompson

Phillip Alan Thompson, 33, of Nederland, died Saturday, December 23, 2017. He was born on May 30, 1984, in Nederland, to Susan Renee Judd Thompson and Karl Frank Thompson.

Survivors include his parents, Susan and Karl Thompson of Nederland; grandmother, Pat Grizzle of Ardmore, Oklahoma; grandfather, Bill J. Judd and his wife, Ramona, of Kingston, Oklahoma; uncles, Billy R. Judd and his wife, Yvonne, of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Joe Thompson and his wife, Pat, of Klute; aunt, Ann Chapman of Nederland; sister, Amy Thompson and her significant other, Kevin Wood of Nederland; brother, Timothy Judd Thompson of Nederland; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oma Thompson and W.H. Thompson; aunts and uncles, Glenda Burnamen; Mary and Norman Dennis, Judy and James Nobles, and Eddie Chapman.

A gathering of Phillip’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3324 Park Drive, Nederland, with his interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
