Rebecca Marie Nylen
Rebecca Marie Nylen, age 49, a loving mother of 3, and adoring wife to husband, Robert Nylen, passed away in her home Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Rebecca was born January 18, 1973, in Baraboo, Wisconsin, to Roberta and Tom Barrix. Rebecca has two sisters, Jenny Dunham and Mandy Feick. Rebecca graduated from Baraboo High School in Wisconsin in 1991. After high school Rebecca completed cosmetology school in Madison, Wisconsin. She married Robert Nylen on September 24, 1994, which was her high school sweetheart. They relocated to Pennsylvania with the marriage and conceived their first child while in Pennsylvania. Prior to birth they relocated to Beaumont, Texas, and their first son, Brandon Nylen, was born in 1997. Brandon was followed by Colton and Dillon Nylen in 2000. Rebecca and Robert raised their family in Beaumont and all three sons enlisted in the military after high school. Rebecca became a grandmother in 2019 as Brandon and Jazmine Cordova had the first grandchild, Elias. The joy of a grandchild is one of her greatest treasures as her children are now having children of their own. Rebecca always tried to please everyone, always putting family first before herself or her wants or needs. She loved being a mother and took great pride in her family. She was nurturing, caring mother and will be greatly missed.

My condolences to you and your family. Mr. Nylen if you ever need anything just ask.
I am so heartbroken to hear of Rebecca’s passing. Working alongside her for over six years we spent a lot of time together and learned a lot about each other. She loved to talk about her sons and how proud she was of all of them, and how especially proud she was to be a grandma. I will never forget all of the crazy times spent working together and I’m so glad that I got to be her co-worker and friend over our years together at Hallmark. My deepest condolences and many prayers ❤️ She will be greatly missed.

To Rob and Sons (Brandon, Dillon & Colton): We are saddened and at a loss having learned of Becky’s passing. I cannot imagine the heaviness your hearts must feel at this time. Becky was a truly beautiful woman, neighbor and friend! I loved her caring and generous spirit and her feistiness as well and Anaiya loved her hugs. Such a giant in a small stature. She will certainly be missed as she was a part of our family too.
You guys are covered in prayer for comfort, strength and eventual peace as you each go through the grieving process. To other members of the family, my prayers are with you all as well.
Shopping at the Hallmark shop in Beaumont’s West End, I was often assisted by Rebecca. How helpful and pleasant she was, always. She spoke with great pride about her family. I remember her fondly and am very saddened by her passing. Please accept my condolences in your great loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the Nylen Family in this time of loss and hardship.
Becky, I am just heartbroken. I will miss you and open mouth laughter. We had our babies together and you were a big part of their childhood and our neighborhood. We will never forget you.
Rob, Brandon, Dillon, and Colton, you have our deepest sympathy and our heartfelt prayers. We love you guys and you will always have us as family.
