Rhett “Tyler” Barrow, Jr

Rhett Tyler Barrow, Jr., 27, of Kountze, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born on March 16, 1996, in Beaumont to Monica Renee Landis and Rhett Tyler Barrow, Sr.

Tyler loved his family so much. He was a protective big brother to his sisters, whom he treasured. Tyler was so excited about starting a family. His love for his fiancé and sons was unwavering. He loved spending time outside grilling for his entire family and jamming out to music in his car. Tyler’s hobbies included reading his Bible and hunting and fishing with his Papa and Dad.

Survivors include his fiancé, Monica Landry; son, Logan Barrow; mother, Monica Landis of Kountze; father, Rhett Barrow, Sr. and Brenda Hurst of Newton; siblings; Sydney Bazinet and Devin Brady of Kountze; Makenna Bazinet of Kountze; step- sister, Hayley Ebarb of Lumberton; step-brother; Tyler Ebarb of Florida; grandparents; Gayle Brockman of Beaumont; Orval and Juanita Landis of Kountze; and Carolyn Dennard of Newton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his son, Braxton Barrow; father-in-law; Randolph Landry; grandfather, Roland Brockman; nephew, Noah Morse; and cousin, Blake-Alexander.

A gathering of Rhett’s family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1600 South Pine Street, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His interment will be at Hooks Cemetery.
