Richard Glenn Hopkins, Sr.

Richard Glenn Hopkins, Sr., 70, of Nederland, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024. He was born September 28, 1953, in Port Arthur, to JoAnn Comeaux Hopkins and Henry James Hopkins.

Richard loved classic cars, motorcycles, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Hopkins; sons, Billy Hopkins and Ricky Hopkins and wife, Misty; grandsons, Evan Hopkins and Lane Hopkins; brother, Randy Hopkins; sisters, Gale Mobley and Denise Perkins; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Chadwick and Tammi Brunson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeff Hopkins.

A gathering of Mr. Hopkins’ family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
