Richard Lewis Hebert

Richard Lewis Hebert, 81, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He was born on March 13, 1935, to Ruby Albaugh Hebert and Al Lewis Hebert, in Beaumont and was a United States Army veteran. Richard retired after forty-years at Mobil Chemical. He was the best example of how a father should be and an excellent fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Hebert; son, Jay Hebert, MD, of Houston; daughter, Susan Hebert of Conroe; and brother, Al Ray Hebert of Fredericksburg.

A gathering of Mr. Hebert’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2017, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
