Ricky Vasquez

Ricky Vasquez, 31, of Houston, formerly of Orangefield, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at HCA Houston Health Care Northwest, Houston. He was born on March 22, 1991, to Lori Wilson Courts and Richard Edward Vasquez, Sr., in Port Arthur.

Survivors include his wife, Cláudia Soares Vasquez of Houston; mother, Lori Courts and her husband, Josh, of Orange; father, Richard Vasquez, Sr. of Groves; brother, Caleb Noble of Orangefield; sister, Caitlyn Brown of Houston; brother, Ryne Vasquez of Groves; stepbrothers, Aaron Courts of San Antonio, Ryan Courts of South Korea; and Brandon Courts of Rose City; stepsister, Lilly LeBlanc of Groves; grandparents, Carol Allen and Mike Wilson and his wife, Pattye, all of Lumberton; Yolanda Gorman and her husband, Barry, of Groves; Rick Vasquez of Groves; and Alvin Courts of Lumberton.

A gathering of Mr. Vasquez’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
