Rita Richings
Rita Richings of Beaumont, Texas, departed this life on January 2, 2020, at Christus Hosptial-St. Elizabeth at 75-years old. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Rita, daughter of the late Horace Bill Alldis and Beatrice Mildred Alldis was born August 30, 1944, in Oxford, England. She went to school at Temple Cowley in Oxford, England. Rita was united in holy matrimony to Kenneth Richings on October 3, 1964. This union was blessed with two children, Darren and Stephen.
Rita moved from England to Lafayette, Louisiana, in April 1983. She then moved to Beaumont in 1990 where she opened her own salon and one of her biggest achievements, Le Salon Esthetique, now owned and run by her daughter-in-law. She retired in 2010. Rita loved all animals, gardening, and a great cup of tea. She is described with a terrific personality, fun, kind, and generous by all of her friends and family. Her life was enriched by everyone who met and knew her.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Kenneth Richings; children, Darren Richings and Stephen Richings, and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Richings; grandchildren Cody Richings and wife, Stephanie Richings, Colin Richings, Allysa Richings, and Demi Richings of Beaumont, Texas.
A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

I will always consider her a friend we laughed and joked the whole time she was giving me facials. Not much relaxing for me I was having too much fun laughing.
