Robert Benjamin Franklin, Sr., 93, of Hamshire, died Friday, January 26, 2024. He was born on July 22, 1930, in Rockport, to Lula and Mack Franklin.
Robert was a supervisor at the Goodyear plant in Beaumont for over 30 years.
Survivors include his son, Robert B. Franklin, Jr., of Arkansas; daughter, Shelly Selman and her husband, Thomas, of Crystal Beach; grandsons, Damon Selman of Houston, and Shane Selman of League City; and former wife, Rogayle Franklin.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
Mr. Franklin’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
