Robert C. “Bobby” Marks, Sr.

December 31, 1944 - November 2, 2021

Robert C. “Bobby” Marks, Sr., 76, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Tomball Nursing Center. He was born on December 31, 1944, to Hazel Krepper Marks and Stanley Joseph Marks, Sr, in Port Arthur, and was a United States Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors include his sons, Sgt. Robert Marks, Jr., U.S. Army Ret. of Schertz and SSG. Joseph Marks, U.S. Army Ret. of Pinehurst; sisters, Hazel and Beatrice; daughter, Carla Ann Marks of Port Neches; and grandchildren, Caleb Marks-Robles, Bracen Marks, Zoey Marks, Maya Marks, Vivian Marks, Lillian Marks, Drew Marie, Avery Leigh, and Scout; sister-in-law, Joyce Marks of Beaumont and nieces and nephews, Michael and Kimberly Marks of Beaumont; Nathan and Melissa Stansbury and their son, Aaron; and Bubba and Barbara Erickson and their son, Jon.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Cpl. Stanley J. Marks, Jr., U.S. Army of Beaumont and sister, Elizabeth Hackbarth.

A gathering of Mr. Marks’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
