Sure sorry to hear about your brother Donnie. Even though I never knew him , he had to be a fine man from all the comments. It’s tough to lose our brothers. I really miss mine.
I had the pleasure of working with Ronnie as an 18 year old brand new EMT for Williams-Diamond EMS. I laughed a lot and learned a lot from Ronnie’s soft, patient demeanor.
I definitely echo the sentiments of Brett and Matt. Ronnie was a great person to work with and I extend my condolences to his family.
I loved Mr. Harvey. He was my supervisor at Acadian Ambulance for a good while. He loved taking care of people.
I just learned of Ronnie’s passing this evening. Ronnie was both father figure and dear friend to me. There is so much to say and so many stories to tell, I could stay up all night writing and still not say all there is to say.
I will be with Ronnie and his family in spirit at 10am tomorrow morning, September 14, 2023. Poignantly, on that same day 12 years ago (9/14/11), Ronnie and I escorted my father’s casket into and out of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at his funeral, where Ronnie also served as a pallbearer.
Thank you for all that you taught and did for me, Ronald Dale Harvey. May God bless your soul eternally.
Matt,
I was so glad to see your condolences for Ronnie. I knew he would want you to know. I tried to find a phone number or address for you but I couldn’t. I’m so sorry you found out so late. Ronnie had a strong bond with you and you meant a lot to him. If you would send me address I would be happy to send you a memorial booklet. Thank you for reaching out to us.
-Barbara Moore Harvey
I had the privilege of working with Ronnie at the ambulance service when Diamond EMS and LM Williams created Williams Diamond EMS. Ronnie and I got along great and remained friends. We could always make Louis cuss, Walley laugh, George’s ulcer act up and Steve’s hair turn a bit greyer. Ronnie was one of a kind and I wish his family all the best. He will be missed.
