Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Walters, 64, of Kountze, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. He was born on March 27, 1954, in Kountze, to Audrey Mae Emanuel and Buster Wilburn Walters.

Survivors include his children, Ronnie Walters, Jr. and his wife, Leta, of Evadale; Jason Wells of Montgomery; Tracie Lynn Walters-Boles and her husband, Jarred, of Bevil Oaks; and Jessica Walters of Kountze; grandchildren, Dalton Walters, Dylon Walters, Makinley Walters, Gracie Walters, Rowdy Cherry, Keelea Wells, Emma Wells, and Britton Thompson; great-grandchildren, Paisley Kate Walters and Dylon Kade Walters; sister, Sylvia “Sis” Miller and her husband, Lee Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, R.W. “Dub” Walters, Boyd Walters, and Gene “Shorty” Walters; and sisters, Dell Jones, Linda White, and Gloria Faye Johnson.

A gathering of Ronnie’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.
